Beam It Up Scotty!

It's February and it's time for some new features from your all-time favorite web hosted facility maintenance software.

Upload Documents and Images
That's right, you can now upload your images or documents to any task within Maintenance Care.

Think of all the ways you can use this feature. Maybe you can take a picture of an incident like an overflowed sink or toilet (okay, maybe you don't want to take a picture of that) and upload the image to the task so that it remains there for you to view at any time.  Or maybe it's to add a signed document from an inspector or contractor of a specific job that you want to keep on file. No matter how you choose to use our newest, most awesome feature, rest assured that it will always be available for you anytime you log into Maintenance Care.

You can upload files up to 250KB as .pdf, .jpg, .png, .gif and of course, Microsoft Word and Excel. You will also have an overall limit of 250MB of space for attachments (over 1,000 uploads). More storage space is available at an additional price.

New Reporting Wizard!
We have totally revamped our reporting structure to include many more options.  First, you can now group your search by any field by using our new report wizard grid.  Grouping means you can have sub-totals for each category including Task Types, Task Class, Room Number....etc...and...etc...and...more...
Second,  you can e
xport all your information into excel or even select how you want to see the information within a .pdf document.  We have many options available so try them all... if you dare!

Task Details on Asset Transactions
For those of you using the Asset functionality, you might already be familiar with the Transaction tab which allows you to see each time your asset has been worked on.  It's a great place for you to summarize the history of a piece of equipment.  Now we've added the ability to double click on each transaction to view a snapshot of the task details without leaving that window.  We just made a good thing even better.

Custom HTML Form on Notes for Scheduler
Scheduled tasks, up to this point, have been strictly used for notification and instructional purposes.  In our last update, we added the ability to include a linked document to a scheduled task making the process a little more robust.  Now, we have added the ability to pre-set a custom HTML questionnaire or form as part of the Scheduled task forcing the person who is managing the task to complete the required information.

As a customer of Maintenance Care, we are happy to bring you more value for your membership by providing these latest updates at no additional cost.
